Jenny McGarvey serves a dual managerial role at the Alliance over the Chesapeake Watershed Forum, ForumPlus, and Chesapeake Network, and aspects of our Chesapeake Forests program. In both roles, Jenny develops and implements programs that educate residents, governments, businesses, and natural resource professionals on watershed restoration topics. Her projects include building innovative programs to assist private landowners navigate ecosystem markets; creating comprehensive resources, trainings, and tools to assist conservation professionals better implement successful riparian forest buffer and urban tree canopy programs; and providing outreach and education to private family forest landowners on managing healthy and sustainable woodlands.

Jenny originally is from California. She has a BS in Environmental Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley and a MS in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia.
